Question about Brewers best Whiskey Barrel Stout?

I am pretty new to the brewing world.


Has anyone brewed the Whiskey Barrel Stout from Brewers Best? The kit came with a grain bag and 3 different grains to be added but, all the directions say are to add the grains to the bag and boil them. Am I suppose to add all the grains together into the one grain bad and boil them all together? Or one at a time, if that is the case, how long would I boil each one and would it matter which one I brewed first?

judging by what you say, yes. all the grains into a bag, boil for time it says.

That would be the one. I brewed it last night and just put all the grains into the one bag.

I hope you read the instructions well and really didn't boil the grains but only steeped them in water between 140 and 160. I won't hurt much but you may get a little astringency in your beer if you did boil.
