I want to make a starter for my next batch that I will be making on Sunday. The problem is, I don't have any extract and LHBS is already closed. Can I make starter wort by steeping some grains? Thanks.

Hehe, my apologies, but I just finished a beer that claimed to be an American Hefeweizen (oxymoron?), so I thought I would make the distinction.
