Hi All,

Just kegged my Goose Island Hex Nut Brown Ale clone, put the keg PSI at 18 for 24 hours, then I will drop to about 6 PSI. Any idea how long to get to FULL carbonation of 2.0 Volumes at 38* ?? I need total time needed from initial keg hookup, beer was very cold when kegged approx 34*.

Thanks for your help !

it usually takes me close to a week for an acceptable amount of carb. two weeks is always better. yours may be a little quicker because you had the psi ramped up at first, but 18 isn't that much higher, so it probably won't be that much quicker. the great thing about a keg is you can pull a small sample everyday if you want and still not have to waste a full beer.
