This post did not get any response in the recipe forum, so I am placing it here.

I am brewing a small batch of this Christmas beer. I am using one of the recipes from "Brew" magazine. It is a clone recipe for St. Arnold Christmas Ale. What class would you place it in?

This is for a half batch... 2.5 gallons

5.5 lbs 2-Row UK
10 oz. Caravienne
7 oz. Munich 10L
4oz. Caramunich
4oz. Special B Malt

.38 Chinook
1.5 oz. Liberty

Wlp 002-English Ale

What size? 3, 3 1/2? My vote would be Ordinary Bitter, Pale Mild, or the start of a weak Old Ale, assuming there is no fruit or spice.

Well, maybe not... Experimental Style works, right?
