 I Just transfered into my secondary fermenter some Cream Ale. It is suppose to be very light in color, but man it looks like an amber. I am not sure why. I followed directions so I thought....Will this lighten up in the Secondary process, or am I just hell bent on always brewing dark beer?

Any suggestions?

I'm going to assume that this is an extract recipe and also speculate that LME was used. If so...

Use DME instead of LME, it will lighten things up a bit.
Next look into adding the extract at the last 15 minutes of the boil. Search for the late extraction method for more details.

Also remember that beer looks darker in a carboy. As a matter of fact, the more it clears the darker it appears.
Have you seen it in a glass yet?

I agree whith richbrewer it always looks darker in the carboy then in the glass or bottle. If it tastes the way you want it to who cares what it looks like.
