I have a bunch of leftover ingredients and I'm looking to make a brown session ale of some sort. Just wondering how this looked:

3lbs LME
2lbs DME
1lb Crystal Malt 40
8oz Carapils
5oz Chocolate Malt
1.5oz Chinook 12.2 @ 60 minutes
2oz Williamette 4.5 @ 10 minutes
Whirlflock Tablet @ 10 minutes
1.5oz Centenial 10.4@ 1 minute
White Labs California Ale Yeast (WPL001)

Thanks

I could be wrong, but that seems a bit hoppy for a session beer (IBU = 87?). Then again, maybe you're a hop head and that's on the light side for you. :D

Had a change of heart where the hops were concerned.
Here was the final recipe:

3lbs LME
3lbs DME
1lb Crystal Malt 40
8oz Carapils
5oz Chocolate Malt
.75oz Magnum 13.1% @ 60 minutes
1.75oz Williamette 4.5% @ 10 minutes
Whirlflock Tablet @ 10 minutes
White Labs California Ale Yeast (WPL001)
