I plan on doing my third AG this weekend and wanted to try the Blood Orange Hefeweizen in Extreme Brewing (Sam Calagione). As I'm sure you know the recipes in there are extract or extract w/ grains. Will the following work as my base:

5lbs Red Wheat Malt
4.5lbs 2 Row
.5lbs Rice Hulls

Mash @ 150º 75minutes

60 min boil
.5oz Hallertau 60min
.5oz Saaz 20min
.5oz Hallertau 10min

Also, are the rice hulls mixed in with the other two grains, or do you create a bed at the bottom of the mash tun?

Thanks all.

That looks like a good recipe to me. Also, rinse off the rice hulls in a colander first since they tend to be ooky. Then mix them in with the mash.
