Adding a QD to a CFC

My CFC just has a straight shot of copper coming out that I slip tubing over when I'm chilling. I have to put a clamp on the end to hold the tubing there otherwise it shoots off with the force/pressure from the pump. This ultimately tears up my tubing so much so that I need to trim it every few batches. Is it possibly to put a male QD fitting on the end of the copper tupping? If so how would I do that? My DIYness is lacking sometimes.

compression fitting FTW. If it is a copper chiller, just go to your local hardware store and pick up a brass one.

I soldered 1/2" MPT copper connectors on my connections that works well.
