I am brewing the Citris Weizen this weekend and was planning on taking it to trout camp the last weekend it April. I have never kegged a brew, but was going to with this beer. I plan on using priming sugar in the keg for carbonation( don't have CO2 tank as of yet, but will by the trout opener) The questions are, will the beer be ready to drink? Never brewed a hefe before. should I keg or bottle?
Thanks for the help.

i'd think six weeks should be enough for a hefe since you don't need to worry about it clearing.

i wouldn't rule out force carbing, remember that can only take a few days with reasonably high pressure. that might get you a somewhat clearer beer and a little less sediment in the first few pints.

It's a weizen, he doesn't want clarity...;)

6 weeks will be fine.

Prime a keg using 1/2 the normal corn sugar you would when bottling.

When hooking up to gas you want to rock it a bit to get the yeast back into suspension.;)
