Going to go to oxygenation via pressurized O2 instead of using a mix-stir while wort flows into carboy. What are the stone recommendations and advantages of aquarium stone over stainless and what size opening on stainless? I have seen .5 and 2 micron. Do the stainless ones sink if attached to flex tubing? If not, could i use an old keg outlet tube?

2 micron is standard and will work great. Mine is on tubing and it sinks just fine. Dip tubes aren't threaded so you'd have weld or solder it on. Tubing works great for me.

Got mine from William's Brewing Supply, on a stainless wand. It's a 2 micron stone. Works really well with how I have it setup. Using an O2 tank for a welding system and a much better regulator (flow meter).
