My coworker hunts a lot of Pheasant. I see them hit on the road this time of year a lot. Nice work, did you hang them?

I hung them for 5 days. I'm away for the weekend and they would of been too strong by the time I got to do them on my return so I had to cook them today.
I partially plucked them then just ripped the skin off and jointed them.
It save time and means you don't have to gut them.
My parents were over and I didn't want to scare them. They have never had pheasant or partridge before and like lots of people they are a little unsure about game.
I just roasted them and added a little ale at the end to make a sauce and served them with roasted vegetables from my plot.
Yes that's me after a long walk in the Lancashire countryside last weekend.

mmmm. not sure.
I just errrrr sort of hang them........
It's cool here at present and not to wet so I just hang them outside out of the reach of the dogs. Ungutted. Until I get time to prep and cook them.
