I am sitting on an AHS Anniversary Pilsner Mini Mash Kit. The kit contains the following:

2.5lb Bohemian Pilsen Malt
1/2lb Crystal 10L
5lb Extra Pale Extract
1oz Brewers Gold Hops
1oz Palisade Hops

I don't have the equipment to brew a pilsner at the cooler temps. I want to salvage as much of the kit as I can. Obviously I need to use an ale yeast but any other suggestions on how to salvage this would be appreciated. If I just change the yeast how bad will it be?

Thanks for any help. I am new at all of this.

Just switch the yeast and what you have.

I'd imagine us-05 or Nottingham would be good. It all depends on what you like.

Take Cooper Street to I-20 Westbound.

Junction to I-35W which becomes I-35.

Arrive Austin and exchange for the right kit.

I've heard of people using White Labs WLP060 with good success in cases where they can't lager.

Using the lager yeast at ale temperatures will taste closer to what it is supposed to taste like rather than using an ale yeast. Either way will work.
