Hey everyone, just started a few months ago, on my 4th batch so far. I've decided to organize my homebrew notes on the batches into a nice binder.

So instead of randomly writing stuff on sheets of paper (I'm a horrible writer) I was looking for a template that would include all the important stuff:
------------------
Name of Recipe:
Type: (beer, wine, cider, mead...)
...
FG:
...

Ingredients:
...
Tools:
...
Comments:

etc...
--------------------

Anyone seen one? My search fu is weak- but maybe I'll just make my own soon. If none are available, I'll post mine soon.

Not sure if you use brewing software... but Beersmith will let you make custom brew sheets from your recipes. Then you'd already have all the recipe-related info printed automatically, plus whatever custom areas you wanted for writing down actual process values, notes, etc.

I'm a complete noob, both to brewing and this site, however found this page for brewing notes that I am planning on using. Check it out and see it you like it.

http://s3.amazonaws.com/com.brewersfriend.images/brewersfriend_extractsheet.pdf
or you can go to- Brewer's Friend, home brewing resources and click on "Brew Day Sheets" for All Grain or Partial Mash Note Sheets as well as Brew Day Check Lists.

Hope this helps.
