As a newbie, I am fascinated as to what peoples setups look like. Everything from organization & storage to the cool fermenting/aging/bottling setups. As well as dispensing systems.

If you have some pics to share, I'd love to see them. It will allow me to live vicariously through them, until my equipment arrives.

Let's see what you've got! Thanks in advance :)

Cheers,

Matt

Here's my brewery corner of the man cave;

The boxes to the right of the frame are filled bottles. Stacks left to right are; Dampfbier, Saison, ESB & Irish red ales. That's my bottling table from Walmart & the old printer stand now repurposed as a fermenter stand & storage unit. Boxes of empty bottles are to the left of the bottling table. The Barley crusher grain mill sits atop the Lowe's bucket that the wood base on the mill fits more tightly than the Home Depot bucket hidden to it's right. That's the Ferrari Super Agata bench capper & 45 bottle tree with avinator on top. I use the broken chair to set the bottle tree on while I sit down to fill & cap bottles with the bottling bucket to the right of the bench capper & the various racking tubes/bottling wand & tube coiled up on the capper. I use the bag the capper came in for a dust cover.
That's a six gallon better bottle to the right on the bottling table used as the occasional secondary. I traded a member in Cheyenne, WY my collection of Cooper's PET bottles for it. I think it's safe to say we both enjoy the trade. Lastly, that's the Cooper's Micro brew fermenter on the left of the fermenter stand & the Midwest shorty 7.9 gallon fermenter bucket with Italian spigot to it's right. There's a lot more odds-n-ends hidden from view by the boxes of filled bottles as well. Many gadgets that make brew/bottling days quicker & easier. In the second view, you can see the 5 gallon (20QT) SS stock pot I still brew in since I started. The one gallon jugs are for measuring mash water, Starsan & PBW. The half gallon plastic vodka jugs in the back are for blow offs. You can also see the colander used occasionally for sparging grains. The small boxes on the left of the fermenter stand are my digital scale & the vinator box filled with zip lock bags of airlocks, grain & hop sacks, biab,& spare parts. Also to be seen, brushes, thermometers, spray bottle of starsan, Starsan,PBW,etc. It's handy to have everything in one place. SWMBO was happy about that too.

Wow! That's a great setup. Lots of cool stuff happening in there. I need to get a table. I have a table I use for lightbox photography, for the first brew I'll use it. But I'll want something more permanent. I orders a super agata and a vintner washer and tree stand. Hope they all work well. :)

Whoa! Can you tell me what those electrical boxes on the wall are and what they control? Awesome setup.

I have a pretty simple setup. I use a rectangle cooler for my mash tun, my kettle is the Blichmann showed, and the smaller pot below it sometimes holds my sparge water. I have another cylindrical cooler that I also sometimes use for sparge water or just storing water in general. For heat I use a large banjo burner and propane. Most of the transferring is done via gravity on a folding table, but I also have a chugger pump that I use for cooling the wort with a plate chiller. I use plastic buckets and glass carboys as fermenters.

Neat setup! While I am just starting, I noticed a number of people have Blichmann equipment. Or something from them, are they held in high regard in home brewing?

They could be considered high end. People joke and call them "Blingmann" because they are fancy and have a high cost, but mine has a lot of features and was built very well and I love using it. They are also designed to work with other Blichmann products. I was a bit worried that I might regret the purchase, as I've done in the past, but this is one item I do not regret getting at all.

I just want to be clear that I'm not knocking other brew kettles haha. Just find one that works for you. I started off with that small pot you see at the bottom of the picture, doing extract batches on my stove so that gives you a reference of some milestones I've made along the way.

Many thanks :)

Is that just a regular turkey fryer stand? I think ill try and source one of those after my first batch.

Yes sir. If I am doing extracts or small batches I will use the pot that came with the turkey fryer package. If it is All Grain I'll use a 10 gallon pot and I get a pretty good boil.

Just mashing in on a British Dark Mild and getting ready to keg Heady Topper clone, so, the room is a bit of a mess. Brewroom, bar, serving fridge....I just use picnic taps. Got sick of cleaning spigots, lines, etc.

my brewing "rig" is basic, burner on cinder blocks.

Here's my fermenting space, many carboys of wine and beer to keep everyone company

Bottled beer storage (yes the entire closet is devoted to beer!)

I keep two kegs and I can cold crash a carboy. My wife painted it with chalkboard paint. I still need to drill out tap holes, but it's pretty sweet..

I like that small keezer! I think that is the size that would work best for me.
