And I boiled my wort as usual for an hour with probably 1/5 of the grains... Is This a not so great thing to do?

Its fermenting away... Just curious as to the the effects.
 
It's not a great thing to do; you may get some tannins from boiling the grains.

But now that it's done, don't worry about it, see how it turns out.
 
What was the volume of the boil and how many oz's/lbs is 1/5th and of what?

If you search "mistakes" on here you'll find some good stories about screw ups (or perceived ones) that had happy endings.
 
So its been 2 weeks since bottling. I buggered up the bottling somehow because a few haven't carbonated very well at all, but the ones that did carbonate turned out fantastic...

So just goes to show you can still boil at least a pound of grains and have it turn out a.ok.
 
i burned my bag last time I brewed. I just made sure to strain all of it out before the boil. What a pain i the ass that was, but the beer came out great.
