Kolsch yeast for a Belgian? Interesting. I did one similar with 3787 (High Gravity Trappist - even though the beer was low gravity) and it is great.
 
My intentions were to brew the recipe for belgian pale from "brewing classic styles", but I decided to pitch the Kolsch yeast at the last minute just for the hell of it. Turn out to be one of my better beers.
