Hey All,

Just harvested my first yeast... went very well.

But as I look here
for other beers that can be brewed with it I do not see anything that I am up for.

I just brewed a Dubel and a Tripel so thats out. I do not like witbier at all.

Can anyone suggest an "outside the box" use for this yeast? I am willing to experiment a bit but do not want to do something that is doomed from the start.

I think you could take pretty much any beer and Beligan-ize it if you're willing to experiment. Certainly you could brew a blonde using this yeast.

Maybe even a IIPA. That yeast handles high gravity with aplomb

+1 for a Belgian IPA. Stone made an IPA with Belgian yeast that I didn't really enjoy (it was good, but I prefered the IPAs made with their regular yeast). Though yesterday I had Flying Dog's Belgian IPA (I think it was called Raging *****) and that had the most amazing yeast/hop aroma to it. It convinced me that Belgian IPAs aren't just gimmicks.

Here are 5 other Belgian styles you can make with that yeast.

Belgian Blond, Belgian Pale Ale, Saison, Golden Strong, Dark Strong
