I drooled in my wine thief.

I just pulled a sample from my carboy by sucking on my wine thief and I accidentally drooled in my wine thief while it was in there. The beer is finished fermenting at around 4% abv. I pulled it out right away, do you think some bacteria could have gotten in the beer?

To pull a big sample. I saw it done online. I'm not going to do it anymore.

Unless you drained the sample back into the carboy, then no. I usually just pull two when I want a big sample.

For drool-free thieving, try rapidly shaking the thief next time.

I once got a big mouthful of hops debris while siphoning to my bottling bucket and reflex caused me to spit........right in the bottling bucket with the wort.

One of my best brews.

I'm sorry but that's kind of funny. You should be just fine unless you put it back in the beer. You never know until the beer is finished.
