Well I sent a message to the"owner" and no response and he hasn't been on this site since October! So make sure you save your email that was sent

My premium membership seems to have gotten lost and Andy's "Contact Us" link is defunct.

I might consider signing up again, but as much as he's ignored this, I'm thinking I might be lighting a match to my $5.

Andy? ...are you out there?

I am out there. Sorry guys I didn't realise my site was broken as the contact button on the site was broken. Bit of a catch 22, how do you tell a guy his site is broken if the contact button to contact him is broken.

Anyway all fixed now.

Regarding people ending up being logged out after a while. This is due to the way I have built the login. I'm more of a designer than a developer so I used the browser's local session to store your login. This means if you clear your browser's cache you can end up deleting your login. But the activation email I send you will always work. So provided you keep that you can always reactivate your account by clicking the link within that email.

Obviously some of you have lost/deleted that activation email, please let me know if this is the case and i'll resend your activation links. You'll need to tell me which email you used when you paid on Paypal so I can find your link.

Also it looks like some of you have paid twice to fix the problem. I'd like to refund anyone who has done this, so could you please also email me if this has happened, again let me know the email you paid on Paypal with and I'll send you a refund.

Apologies for the site being a bit broken and also for my absence for quite a while. The last year has been a rather busy mix of work, children & DIY. I've barely had a chance to put on a home brew. But it looks like things are starting to settle down a bit now. I'll go through this thread to see what ideas people would like to see on the site and crack into a few changes. It looks like one of the main requests is more than 3 colour options per label.

My email address is [email protected]

Cheers
Andy

What is this premium membership you speak of? I see nowhere on the site to do such a thing.

so is there or is there not a premium membership

I cant find it

If you try to print or save any of the labels that aren't free you'll see the prompt for premium membership. If you'd rather not pay money to have a label you can use any of the free labels. So either way you should be fine.

So i've made my first update to the site in a year. Feels good to be back on a fun project rather than my day job. This evening I coded up a new colour for all the labels. So now each label has 4 colours to pick from. My next task is to make it so more of the labels work with foreign characters like umlauts. Then I'll crack into designing a new label for the site. Anything else you guys want to see? I noticed a few people talking about back labels and neck labels? That might be a nice feature.

Both would be cool and really take it to the next level. What about the option of changing the fonts and the perma cap In the Tag lines?

Is there a germanic font that is a tidge easier to read?

Here are a few that I have made using beer labelizer and jam labelizer which works pretty well. I'll add my comments as to what would be awesome if you could make it work for each label:

This label is cool. The only thing I would like to change is the ability to change the letter within the circle.

The only thing I would like (and I would really like this), is to be able to make the picture smaller or larger (zoom in or out).

I love the photo ones. Making more templates with the ability to add a photo would be killer.

andybiggs, Herr Doctor, How about having a setup to automatically drop six labels onto a letter sized sheet?

I have the programs an ability, but some may not.

I use MS Word.

So, it seems I'm having the same problem now as many others in that the site doesn't remember me as a premium member. There is no place to enter a code, but I can't find the email anyway. It seemed good at first, but this is an annoyance.

This would definitely be a nice option. Having to size the image and fit them onto a page to be printed isn't all that hard, but it would be cool to have them automatically setup up with a standard size for a 12 oz. bottle.

I haven't labeled my beers much lately, but I was just starting to think about doing a batch to give away for the holidays and definitely plan on doing labels for those gifts.

I saved the e-mail link in my homebrew file so I can just use that. you guys have to think of seperate file folders for things to keep'em seperated. Easier for me that way. I def like the added color choice. I use your label generator for beers I ship to friends & family. also,an easier to read Old English/Germanic font would be nice. Here's a few labels I did with your program;

Gotta post the new one of this with the right spelling;

The font on the Buckeye Burton label could be a bit clearer. Otherwise, the label suits the sort used back in the day for such an ale.

I honestly had no idea they existed. This beer won a bronze medal (as Left Hand Brewing Co). My girlfriend even made me a really cool sign for my brew shack. Then I realized there was a friggin' brewery named that. Argghgghghgh.

BoomerHarley Was this just for fun, or are you somehow intertwined with that brewery? My wife and our friends are mesmerized by their Milk Stout.

Neck labels would be a great addition! Also neck labels for flip tops would be nice. Love your site though. Great work. Too bad so few can turn their hobby into their day job.

I bought a premium subscription to the labelizer but I can only access it on the computer I bought it on. Is there a way to access the program from any computer.

They sent you an email to activate your subscription - just forward that email to your other computer(s) and click the link. I sent mine to work to mess with the program there...

Forward it to your webmail. Yahoo, MSLive, Juno etc. Make a folder and store it there. My folder is named: "Beer".

:D

You know this could be marketable. Get yourself a good laser printer and some like lick-and-stick paper. You could custom print people labels for their beer and mail it out.

Yes!

New colours and new auto setup for printing (depending on bottle size) is an excellent upgrade.

Thanks Andy!

Thank you so much for the printing option. I don't have a nice printer, but I can use that option to save it as a PDF and take it somewhere to get it printed. That saves me the hassle of figuring out what size to make the label and how to fit them on a page and all that. I know that stuff is not all that difficult, but I appreciate how simple this printing option makes it. Very cool.

Awesome! just found this and got the premium upgrade. Thanks a ton for making this easy :D

Neck labels would be great. I wonder if it's possible to just do a regular one with BIG fonts and then minimize the size before printing. A lot less paper/cutting/gluing would be needed then. Might give it a shot later.

Thought I'd post the label I made (using the amazing Beer Labelizer) for my first batch of home brew that I will be unveiling at our Super Bowl Party next week. Saw a few Seahawks labels throughout the thread so I figured some of you might like it.
