I have several older kegs I received about 4 years ago. I didn't home brew at the time but I held on to them anyway. My question is how do I get the beer into them when the time comes ? I am ready to start kegging my beer but these kegs are the commercial keg type. What do I need in order to start putting beer into them ?

This doesn't quite answer your question, but the main use for commercial beer kegs around here is to convert them to keggles. That's what I'd do with them.

I would say your best option is to call your lhbs and see if they would either trade them for corny kegs or for store credit. IMO commercial kegs and for just that. Filling carbonating and cleaning them is a pain without the right equipment.
