SWMBO likes chocolate stout, and there is a burrito place that makes a nutella milkshake which is very good. I figured I could add some hazeltut flavor to a chocolate stout recipe. Heres what I have so far, tell me what you think and if you would change or add anything.

6.0Lb Dark DME 82.8%
0.5LB Black Patent 6.9%
0.5LB Chocolate Malt 6.9%
0.25LB Roasted Barley 3.4%

0.75oz Brewers Gold 9.4AA @60 Minutes
1.000z EKG 4.5AA @ 20 Minutes

4oz cocoa powder
1 tablespoon hazelnut extract in bottling bucket before racking at bottling time (I know, it might kill head retention.)

Nottingham Yeast

The estimated numbers I am getting from the tastybrew calculator are:
OG 1.053
FG approx 1.013
IBU 38
ABV 5.2%

Thanks for reading.

Jamil has an award winning recipe for a Chocolate Hazelnut Porter you may want to look at. There are 3 different variations of it though, one in his book (Brewing Classic Styles), one on the website with a collection of his recipes (though this one differs only slightly in a few things), and then one with a much higher gravity sold by Morebeer.
