hey guys, i have a buddy that runs a welding school and he has asked me for a project for his class. so guess what! i get a brew stand. i am i need of some help making a decent brew stand. right now i have brewed about 4 batches all extract on the stove top in wifes kitchen but i want to go to all grain soon. can anybody help me out with drawings or sketchs for a decent brew stand. Thanks

what are some dos and donts?

Great deal. You can't beat the Brutus 10 design as a starting point. And then there are a million different variations posted around here that will give you ideas to help you tailor the design. I would suggest your first "do" is to look at as many pictures of other rigs as possible and find out what is important to you.

This thread looks designed for you. I know it worked great for me on my first welding project.

whats the advantages for a gravity feed stand when doing all grain? for osme reason i have personaly liked the idea of having gravity help me a little bit

Pumps work harder than gravity. I am going from full gravity to that single tier now and plan to brew with it for the first time this weekend.
