Going from Commercial to Homebrew Kegerator

I just brewed my first batch this weekend and have a few weeks to get my keg setup for my kegerator. I have had this kegerator for over a year with no problems and all of the tubing, shanks and fittings are for commercial kegs.

I bought a Corny Ball lock keg and fittings this weekend and have a few questions about the fittings.

1) I'm currently running 5/16 ID gas line from my regulator to my keg coupler with no problems. The corny keg ball lock fitting is 1/4 inch OD. Will my gas tubing fit with no leaks?

2) I'm currently running 3/16 ID beer line from my shank to my keg coupler with no problems. The corny keg ball lock fitting is 1/4 inch OD. Will my beer line fit?

Answers: 1) The best way IMHO is to splice the 5/16 to a small length of 3/16 with this type reducer and push the 3/16 onto the 1/4 fittng.h

1 &2) The 3/16 tubing will fit very snugly on the 1/4" fittings. Soak the ends in a bit of warm water for a minute and they go on easey
