Another (dry) yeast substitution question

I'm planning to brew a pale ale in the morning. I was going to use US-05, but I am out. I have S-04, Nottingham, Windsor and Cooper's, but no 05. My LHBS sure won't be open tomorrow. If I use Nottie and keep the temp down can I get close, and keep it pretty clear of esters? A swamp cooler is the best I can do for now.

Ya the Nottingham should be fine. Just try to keep it at or below 70 and you are good to go.

Nottingham is a less clean version of S-05, Temp control is PARAMOUNT ! but your end state will be the same

I think you will get a drier beer with Nottingham as well.
