Just picked the last of my hops. I got a half pound dried on the first round. I think this will weigh about 3/4 of a pound when dry. Cascades are on the left and nuggets are on the right. They are drying on a quickly built 2x4 frame I threw together with fan blowing up from underneath. The board laying on top is just to deflect some of the air back down. They dry in about two days and then I cram them tightly into canning jars and put them in the freezer.

I wish I had had time this weekend to do a wet hop ale...
 
I would suggest vacuum packing the hops instead of putting then in a canning jar. You will get a better seal to help keep oxygen away from the hops.

If you don't want to vacuum pack the hops I would suggest you try purging the jar with some CO2 before you seal it.
