Burners

I'm a noob at this so I apologize in advance for any stupid questions I ask. But my apartment stove is failing at boiling 5 gallons so I feel like my only option is to get a propane burner. I'm scared of getting one that won't be able to get the heat down low enough. So what I'm asking for is suggestions of burners that are good for 5 gallons.

I have a SQ-14 that can boil 5 gallons, or 10 gallons, pretty easily. It works great, and has a nice solid stand to hold up a heavy keggle.

5 gallon pots to keggles work great. Plus, I use it with giant wok outside at least once a week.

I've got the Bayou Classic SP10 and it works like a champ.

I have this also, works awesome.

I had it pretty low on my first run and it was still easy to control.

Remember to stir and control the flow when adding hops to control the boil and you won't over flow.

I think the KAB4 is a buy-once type burner. 5 gallons now, but...

Another interesting stand design is http://www.walmart.com/ip/King-Kook...gle-Burner-Outdoor-Cooker-Camp-Stove/10661038 but none of the pictures I've seen show what kind of burner casting it has. It's nice to have the extra height if you ever put a drain valve on the pot.
