Quick question. I'm building a keezer and am getting ready to drill into the collar for the shanks. What size bit should I use? Thanks for any help.

Standard beer shanks use a 7/8" x 14 thread and will fit through a 7/8" diameter hole with a snug fit. If you want a bit of slop, go with an 15/16", but if you already have a 1" bit and don't want to buy a bit you may never use again, that'll work...

Cheers!

Many thanks, went ahead with the 7/8ths bit and it worked perfect. Just poured my first beer from my keezer...delicious I'll post pics later, I made a Cardinal keezer, hopefully they will fare a little better tomorrow night.
