Hi, simple question. I'm going to a party Sunday and want to take a couple of growlers of some good stuff from a local beer bar and am just wondering if I pick it up on Friday and use my ceramic flip top growlers, will it still be real fresh tasting and well carbed by Sunday afternoon?

Keep it cold, and don't open it and it should be fine. I recently took a couple growlers of my kegged homebrew to an event. I filled it Thursday night, and opened it Saturday night and it was perfectly fine.

It all depends on how clean they are and how well they seal. I pick up growlers from the local brewery all the time and have opened them 10 to 14 days later and they are still perfect. Just be certain you don't open them after they are packaged, once you do that you are down to 24-48 hours or drinkability.
