Hey everyone thanks for bringing my brews to new levels.

Todays probem: I got busy and racked my APA to the secondary about 4 days later than I normally do and man its cloudy. I used gelatin as always do normally it clears up in 2-3 days but not this time. I really prefer my beer to clear not cloudy so any ideas?

I would wait it out. The suspended yeasts will settle out with time.

You can let it sit for 30 days in the 2ndary before bottling. Add another 21 for conditioniong and it should be pretty clear by then.

Once it's done fermenting you can cold condition it to cause more settling.

Yeah--if possible, move the secondary to a place that's near the low extreme of the temp range for your yeast strain.

Then after a couple weeks, when airlock activity is dones, try moving it to a location a little cooler yet, if possible.

This helps more stuff fall out of suspension.
