I have been home brewing for a year or so.. I just moved to AZ from NJ..Where in the stores they sale a blue agave syrup.. Was thinking of making a blue agave pale ale...Anyone have a idea or recipe... Would like to use like 3 pounds of grian.. 7 pounds of lme or dme... pound and a half of blue agave or more.. IBU around 30 to 40....yeast was thinking about...wlp001 or wlp008... also was thinking of adding lime... Cheers...

It looks like people have just substituted it for honey or some other type of highly fermentable sugar in various recipes. I just bought some yesterday. I want to incorporate it in some kind of gluten free recipe for my wife.

Have at it, and good luck! Let us know how it turns out!

Just do a google search for "homebrewtalk agave beer"... that's how I found out what people were doing with it.
