How to get rid of a mini-fridge?

So I originally got this fridge for free thinking I could try some lagering but it's just too small for my fermenter. Then I realized it wasn't effective for bottle storage either because its set to about 2 deg. C at the lowest setting. Now its just collecting mold in my garage. I was thinking of going to the recycling center but I'm pretty sure they'll charge me a scrap metal fee. Please, any suggestions?

Why won't it work for bottle storage again? How cold are you trying to keep them?

Use it to store nightcrawlers for fishing. If not for yourself offer it to a small local sports shop. Not a megamart! Please!

Bypass the thermometer with a jumper and use a Ranco or Johnson Controls temperature controller.
