Anyone try re-pitching Wyeast 9097 (Old Ale Blend)?

I used Wyeast 9097-PC Old Ale Blend to make the 11-11-11 HBT Anniversary Series beer, and afterwards, I rinsed it to get as clean a yeast pitch as I could using this method: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f163/yeast-washing-illustrated-41768/

I was wondering if anyone else has done this also? I ended up with a very small amount of yeast, and pitched it into a low-gravity bitter, which began a solid fermentation after about 30 hours. It's about 8 days into fermentation, and is smelling very brett-y.

Thanks!

I did the same thing, and then saved the washings from that bitter for 10 months. Just added them in secondary to an RIS, and there's lots-o-bubbles :)
