Hey there. I'm hoping to make a batch of 4% alc. (that of a general beer) cream soda in my MrBeer and I have a couple of questions.

1) What ingredients should I use to brew it (it's a 2 gal. brewer)?
2) I've never made a soda before, so I'm wondering if I could have a small step by step on how to go about it.
3) I'd appreciate some advice to help me keep from producing bottle bombs.

I'd also like to note that while I want it to have a higher alc. content, I would still like it to be relatively sweet.

Thanks a lot.

Alcoholic sodas are tricky because the yeast will not stop when you want them to. Naturally carbonated sodas rarely have more than 0.25% ABV.

I've had the best luck with brewing a lite beer to the ABV I want, then using non-sugar soda concentrates for flavoring.
