Brewed a Stone IPA clone (my version is called "Stone Mountain IPA" b/c i live in GA.) and finally got around to taking some comparison shots. This one is pretty easy, based on the head size, but still fun!

I nailed the color almost perfectly! They are both actually much clearer than the photo is showing...i think the glasses have frosted over. As far as taste, I think i nailed it, as my amateur palette certainly can't tell a difference!

Anyway, here you go. Let me know what y'all think?

Here's my hop schedule:

1.00 oz of US Warrior (60 Min From End)
1.00 oz of US Centennial (15 Min From End)
1.00 oz of US Centennial (5 Min From End)


Here's the full recipe (makes 5gal):

US Pale Ale Malt 10lb 8oz 84.0 % 7.4 In Mash/Steeped
US Munich 10L Malt 1lb 0oz 8.0 % 2.0 In Mash/Steeped
US Caramel 20L Malt 1lb 0oz 8.0 % 4.0 In Mash/Steeped

Hops
Variety Alpha Amount IBU Form When
US Warrior - 1.00 oz - 60 Min From End
US Centennial - 1.00 oz - 15 Min From End
US Centennial - 1.00 oz - 5 Min From End
US Centennial - 1.00 oz - In Fermenter

Yeast
DCL US-05 (formerly US-56) SafAle
 
Haha, I was trying to decide if I wanted to have my last Stone IPA from the fridge tonight and this definitely did it.
