Hi,
I'm thinking of putting a sight gauge on my keggle MLT to measure strike water and to make sparging flow control easier. Is this a good idea?

If I do go this route, any ideas on a filter or strainer for the fitting (1/2") that will help keep various particles from the sight gauge tube?

Thanks!

Spoony

I've had one on my MLT for the same purpose and I never got anything stuck in the tubing. If you wanted to add a rough strainer, I could probably come up with some ideas if you told me how you were attaching your sight to the vessel.

I've got a 1/2" coupling welded half into the MLT, the outer half connects to the usual compression fitting for the sight glass, the inner half is available. Is that workable? maybe a hex nipple with a mesh screen soldered onto it?
