I am about to start cleaning my kegs getting ready for my first brewing. I have seen a lot of people talking about disassembling their kegs and soaking them. I was wondering what container would accommodate all the parts. What container do you use to soak your parts and where do you get them?

you see....great tips like this is why I ask my questions here. Thanks guys.

what about lubing new gaskets. Is it necessary? If it is, can I get something locally?

And the oxyclean....is it the same that is on the laundry soap isle?

Most prefer to use the non scented OxyFree (hard to find) or dollar store version.

If you can't find keg lube, you can sub some vaseline or get some food safe silicone from plumbing supply.

My local grocery carries Oxyclean Free. Works great. Yes, you need to lube new (and used) o-rings.
