I've come up with my first recipe... Curious as to any thoughts on my hop sched.
60: 1/2oz warrior
50: 1/2oz warrior
40: 1/2oz centennial
30: 1/2oz centennial
20: 1oz citra
101oz citra
0: sim or

Dry hopped with citra.

Let me know what you think

Maybe. ....where are you as far as IBU?

Sometimes it's not about a complicated schedule and lots of hops.

One of my latest IPAs turned out excellent using 2 OZ @75, 1 OZ @5 , and 1 OZ for dry hop (all Columbus, for 10 gallons).

Too many "early" hops (before 15 minutes from the end of the boil) and not enough late hops.

An IPA needs firm bittering, and then plenty of late hops.

Like this:
.75 ounce warrior 60 minute (or to 40 IBUs with this addition
1 oz centennial 15 minutes
1 oz citra 5 minutes
1 oz centennial 0 minutes
1-2 oz hops dryhopping 5-7 days before packaging
 
Thanks Yooper...that's what I was looking for. I've only done extract kits and haven't made my own yet. So I'm a bit lost as to recipe generation, I have beersmith...but I'd like to know how to without it as well. I feel the ibus are off as well.
