Well,

I brewed an american pale ale last night, i had the yeast I saved from my last batch. I "guessed" how much of it I should add, and I dont think I added enough. I accidentally left the rest of the bottle out of the fridge overnight. I was wondering if it would be a problem if I added the rest of the yeast now? I don't think its a problem, but just want to double check.

Thanks

Wup

Lessee, the yeast has been in a room temperature fermenter for weeks at a time, yet you worry about 16 more hours?

And, about a cup of the sludge from a primary is about right, no starter needed except to check if it's still alive at all.
