Ok, as you can see, I am upgrading my home brewery.

I am looking at getting a grain mill. I have read the posts about the different types. I was looking at Barley crusher, Monster Mill, etc. Ok, stupid question. When you attach a roller mill to a base and a hopper on top, how do you prevent the grain from flying everywhere when crushing? These mills do not have a housing around the rollers.

And finally any recommendations? And 2 vs 3 rollers?

Thanks

I've got a barley crusher. The base that came with it has little rubber feet on the bottom that hold on to a 5 gallon bucket perfectly. I just put the mill w/ base on top of the bucket, hook up my drill, and crush away. Everything goes in the bucket, no mess, no hassle.

Base fits over a 5-gallon bucket. This is a monster mill with the stock bin.
