I am the in design/purchase part of my RIMS build and was trying to find a way to not purchase from stpats. The only reason why I am considering it is because of the 1.5" tri-clover sight glass. My RIMS tube design is uses 1.5" tubing which should allow plenty of room for my element. Brewershardware sells a 1" sight glass but I am not sure if i will have a clearance issue with my element and the flange wall.

Has anyone incorporated a 1" sight glass into their RIMS tube?
