Oops... Mr Beer and Mr Hot Water don't get along

So the primary on my raisin wine is a thrift store Mr Beer. Apparently Mr Beer will distort shape with boiling water. I guess I should have figured that one out. In the future I will have to plan for this and combine ingredients in a pot first.
Should I worry about chemicals leaching into my wine?

I'm sure it's made of food grade plastics, so you're probably fine. Let's see pictures though!
 
Raisin wine requires boiling water, as does a few other recipes. I'm assuming the hot water helps dissolve sugar and other goodies. http://winemaking.jackkeller.net/reques97.asp
I managed to keep its shape pretty good by holding the top up until it cooled down, so it still looks like a Mr Beer, only more oval on the cross sections. Fortunately the spigot did not leak.
