Hello everyone I have a friend wanting to get into home brewing. He lives in state college, pa. He has nothing so if anyone is getting rid of stuff for extract brewing (kettle, buckets, bottling bucket, siphon, brushes...etc) please let me know

Thanks and happy brewing.

I noticed this starter kit on Craigslist the other day: http://williamsport.craigslist.org/hsh/3300655315.html

It looks like a pretty good setup for a good price. Lewisburg is about 1 hour 10 minutes from State College. If he comes in Rt. 45, he'll also pass Bald Eagle Brewing Company which is our LHBS. The website sucks, but Tom's a great guy. When I bought my starter kit from him he gave me his cell phone number in case I ran into any brewing emergencies.

Find a Turkey Fryer on Craigslist. Or check Walmart and Sears immediately after Thanksgiving when they all get discounted. typically a 7 or 8 gallon pot and a burner, which will work for full boils if you get there in a year. I found mine at a Sears week after Thanksgiving for $15 a few years ago before I ever started brewing. Was a stupid deal I couldn't pass up.

Yeah, I will shoot you my email with a couple of listings on places I frequent for brewing supplies...I'm in pleasant gap and have found a couple of places with some great prices. Also, where in State College?

I'm not sure where he lives. I live in michigan and have no clue where he lives just looking to forward information onto him

What type? And how much? He is starting with a 3 gallon boil but I'm sure he's going to be doing 5 soon so if it'll work for both the great.
