I have a GEMS Sensors FS-480P that has 1/2" tube compression nuts on each end to connect up tubing. I got this sensor for free and would like to install it with my tri-clover RIMS system as a safety device.

The question is how to adapt 1/2" compression fittings to 1-1/2" tri-clamp.

The easiest thing that I can think of is:

1/2" compression cap --> brazed/soldered to --> 1/2" NPT Cap --> Threaded to --> 1/2" NPT-M to 1-1/2" tri-clover.

Is there any off the shelf piece that can reduce this at all?

Thanks.

I don't know of any fittings that go directly from 1/2" compression to 1 1/2" tri-clover, but maybe someone who deals with sanitary fittings alot would be able to source one. Home Depot and Lowes both sell 1/2" comp-> 1/2" NPT, so there's no need to solder/braze two caps together.

I think This is what you want.

Indeed, they are!

However, I need the other 'sex' on the tube end.

I picked up some brass ones at Home Depot and the tube end is too small, it must be larger than 1/2".
