I'm going to be in Cypress CA next week on business. Since I'll have some free time I want to make sure I hit up a couple local joints. What's good down on the south side of LA that I can't get up here in Wisconsin?

If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing
Ladyface in Agoura Hills. It's on the North side but awesome food and beer. One of my favorite brewpubs in the country. All their servers are Cicerone certified. I stay at the Candlewood Suites and walk over.
If you're going to be in Cypress, I'd concentrate on the OC breweries and not LA.

Solid advice. OC is full of great breweries. For whatever reason LA doesn't have very many at all compared to OC and San Diego County.
