Work's almost done here at Lawton/Ft. Sill, OK. I'll be heading out for Killeen/Ft. Hood on Thurs. We'll be there over the weekend and leaving Tue morning.

Any recommendations for pubs/activities this weekend?

Anyone want to get together for a few brews? :mug:
As always, the first round's on me.:mug:

Supposedly there is a new Irish pub in Temple, about 20 minutes away (where I werk). Not much for decent beer drinking in Killeen or HH. Last time I was at buffalo wild wings they had St. Arnold on tap, but said no one was drinking it. I will be at a bike rally out of town Saturday, but might should be around Friday after work. I will look into the place in Temple- they are supposed to have 50 beers on tap.

Old thread revived. Killeen has made a couple of good advancements for us craft brew lovers.
Carolina Ale House has 44 taps and more yet in bottles.
Old Chicago also has a decent tap list.
For package beverages, Spec's and Twin Liquors (specifically the Killeen Twin) is steadily improving their inventories.

MA has it right!
Also, Tilted Kilt usually has 6-10 good beers on tap...
Twin Peaks is scheduled to open in the next 2-3 weeks, not sure what their offerings will be...
Carolina Ale House and Old Chicago are still most extensive. Old Chicago says they have "Over 100 beers" but obviously, most are in bottles...
