Some Encouragement for newbies

I work on a team that has several homebrewers and decided to organized a tasting of each others brew and to see who gets ultimate bragging rights. A few guys have been doing it for years...one of the guys on the team never brewed before but wanted to participated...so I gave him a Mr Beer kit I still had. It came with a pale ale kit. He was pretty excited to get into it.

So we had our get together last night...and his beer was awesome...he ended up adding 3 serrano peppers to the pale ale after 3 weeks...I've had lots of pepper beer this one blew all the others away. It was awesome to get another guy into brewing.

And I always thought you couldn't make REAL beer with a Mr. Beer kit!

I'm trying to figure out what is in the Mr Beer Pale Kit so I can make an all grain version of it
