It seems "Joe's Ancient Orange Mead" is a big hit with those who have sampled the end product. I decided to throw together a variation on it-about 3/4 gallon. I mixed 24 oz. of clover honey in warm water, crushed about 8 ounces of blackberries, threw in 1 tablespoon of good old Fleishcmann's yeast! Yeah I know! but that's what the recipe calls for so here it goes. The thing started bubbling the airlock in 25 minutes!
