I am currently using a standard propane regulator from lowes and I have decided its time to upgrade. I was looking at the one from keg kowboy: Banjo Burner Brew Stand Kit

But it doesnt look like the regulator just screws strait in to the propane tank? Am I missing something?

Most newer, small propane tanks have two sets of threads. One on the outside (like the one for your grill) and ones on the inside (that they use to fill and you also use for things like heaters and such). Run your fingers inside your propane tank valve, I bet you'll feel those threads. The one from the link screws into the inside threads.

Psst..... I only know because I actually returned something one time claiming I needed an adapter to fit my propane tank. Salesmen gently explained what I told you. Don't tell anyone.....lol
