It seems that the favored hop weather is spring/summer in WA and OR. My question is...Since i live in South Florida and don't have to worry about frost/snow could i grow hops during late fall through winter in hopes to mimic the temps up north? Any thoughts on this?

It is the predominate light spectrum that changes after solstice that triggers flowering

Temperatures have very little to do with hop growth, although very hot dry weather can boost AA levels if you irrigate enough. Day length is what really matters. Our 16-17 hours of sunshine per day are what make the PNW the prime hop growing region.
