Hi, I just completed my first all grain. Everything went well except my boiling temperature for the wort. I was using an old turkey fryer, possibly 55000 btus. I could not get my wort of 6 gallons to a rolling boil. The wort was boiling but very slowly for 60 min. Should I be concerned? I made a simple cream ale consisting of 2-row, crystal and cara-pills and of course hops and irish moss.

i dont think you need to worry. as long as you got a hot break everything is fine. i have the same issue with my set up. have always got a hot break and had no problems.
